District 2:  Young Men of Wells Station Elementary Strengthen Teamwork Skills

In an inspiring display of teamwork and growth, the young men of Wells Station Elementary participated in the second workshop of the year, titled “Building Bonds: Fostering Relationships and Teamwork Skills.” This engaging session centered on exploring essential strategies to build and strengthen interpersonal connections, with a focus on improving collaborative efforts within their teams.

Throughout the workshop, participants took part in interactive activities and group discussions that encouraged them to delve into the core principles of effective communication, trust-building, and conflict resolution. These skills, critical to cultivating strong relationships and cohesive teams, were presented in a hands-on manner, allowing the young men to immediately apply their learning in real-time scenarios.

Principal Keisa Jackson, who advocates for the importance of teamwork and mutual support, emphasizes that these skills extend beyond the classroom. “One essential principle we instill in our students is the importance of teamwork and supporting one another,” Jackson shared. “Especially when it comes to our students.”

Special recognition goes to the mentors from The Gentlemen’s League, whose dedication and outstanding example of unity and cooperation provided invaluable lessons to the students. Their guidance reinforced the values of collaboration and mutual respect, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
