District 6: Dr. Keyundah Coleman, Principal at John P. Freeman Optional School, wins the 2025 STEM Innovator Award from Tennessee STEM Innovation Network

Memphis, TN – On Friday, May 9, the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN) celebrated four exceptional leaders in STEM education at its annual awards ceremony during the 2025 Tennessee STEM Innovation Summit at the Music City Center in Nashville. These prestigious awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to STEM learning and community engagement across Tennessee, highlighting the importance of fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in education.

Of the four recipients, there was a winning educator from Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) – Dr. Keyundah Coleman, Principal at John P. Freeman Optional School.

Dr. Coleman received the 2025 STEM Innovator Award for his visionary leadership in creating a thriving STEM ecosystem. His collaborations with institutions like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have enriched students’ STEM experiences.
