Translation Services: The Bilingual Communications team supports translation needs for District-level communication efforts, including:
- District-issued forms, campaigns, flyers, brochures, letters, newsletters, graphics, robocalls, automated texts, surveys, announcements, emails, student handbooks, and any other type of document considered essential for parents/families.
Requesting District-Level Translations:
- Please submit translation requests via the District-Wide Translation Request form found here: DISTRICT TRANSLATION FORM
- Only submit final and approved documents. Time constraints do not allow for ongoing revisions and multiple updates on drafts.
- Editable versions or documents need to be uploaded. Other types of files (non-editable) may result in delays.
- Please note that we do not translate copyrighted materials or third-party documents.
Requesting School-Level Translations:
Most schools in MSCS have an assigned Bilingual Cultural Mentor that supports the schools with written and oral translations.
*Please note that “translations” involve written communication and “interpreters” involves spoken communication.
